GuildFinder

Getting verified

The Verified badge means a person at GuildFinder checked the listing and the owner proved it's theirs. Here's how to get it.

  1. Prove it's yours

For a server, add the GuildFinder bot and press Confirm, or run /server setup. You need to own the server or have Manage Server. For a bot, put the short code we give you in its description on the Developer Portal. This also unlocks ads.

  2. Meet the requirements

Your listing page shows a checklist. Everything on it has to be ticked before you can ask.

  3. Ask, and we check

Press "Request the Verified badge". Staff look at the listing, the server or bot itself, and any reports, then approve it or tell you exactly what to fix.

Questions

Do I need the badge to advertise?

No. Ads only need confirmed ownership, which is the first step. The badge is extra trust on top.

How long does it take?

Usually a day or two. You get a notification and a Discord DM either way.

What if I'm declined?

We tell you why. Fix it and ask again from the same page; there's no waiting period.

Can I lose the badge?

Yes, if the listing changes into something we wouldn't verify, or reports turn out to be true.
